1st Day -  United Kingdom-Bucharest-Sibiu

The group is wellcomed in Romania. A short stop at  Curtea de Arges is made and examination of the Cathedral and the monastery of Curtea de Arges are planned, where the grave of the Romanian king Carlol I Hohenzollern lies. 2nd  Day  Sibiu-Sighisoara - Targu Mures - Bistrita

Breakfast.After a short city tour in Sibiu, you will be driven to Sighisoara (Castle of Sighisoara) and on the way you will visit the farm fortress in Bierthaelm which is the biggest Church Castle in Transilvania. In Sighisoarayou can visit the fortress where supposedly prince Vlad Tepes, better known as Dracula was born, and the OldTown. 3rd  Day Bistrita-Campulung Moldovenesc-  Moldovita- Sucevita- Putna-                  Campulung Moldovenesc

Breakfast. On the way you will see the Castle of Dracula. On the way to the famous Moldavia monasterys, you’ll see miraculous sceneries: dreamy valleys, dark woods. You will first visit the monasterys of Moldovita, Sucevitaand Putna. Moldovita is the first of the monasteries by her outer wall paitings which are world-wide known. The out wall painting of the monastery of Sucevita includes scenes from the Bible and Romanian history. The second part of the journey leads you to Putna where you will visit it’s monastery. 4th  Day Campulung Moldovenesc-  Cacica – Pojorita-  Lucina-  Campulung Moldovenesc

Breakfast. In Campulung we will first visit the Wood Museum  and after that the salt mountain from Casica.Youwill then visit Cacica, Pojorita and Lucina, and return to Campulung. Dinner and overnight accomodation. (at a 3*Hotel) .Cca.60 km

 

5th Day Campulung Moldovenesc- Marginea –Arbore- Dragomirna –Voronet

Breakfast. In the morning, you will visit the Ceramic Centre of Marginea whith it’s world wide  known Black Ceramics. On this day you will visit the monasterys of Arbore-Dragomirna and Voronet, the “Sixtine Chapel of the East” along with its Churces and rooms, the mural paintings and the impressive architecture. Dinner and overnight stay in Voronet (at a 3*Hotel or pension) approx. 80 km.

 

6th Day  Voronet-Probota-Iasi-Piatra Neamt

Breakfast. From Voronet we will go further to Iasi and on the way we will visit the monastery of Probota. On our arrival in Iasi, the former capital of the Moldaviens, you can make a short stop for shopping or visiting the TownChurch “Trei Ierarhi”. We will move on to Piatra Neamt. On the way, you can visit the monasterys of Agapia andVaratec. Arrival in Piatra Neamt. Dinner and overnight stay. (at a 3*Hotel or pension).Cca.320 km

 

7th Day  Piatra Neamt - Brasov - Bran  - Brasov

After breakfast, you will see the interesting rock formations known as Cheile Bicazului, and then head to Brasov. Here you will take a city tour in Brasov and will visit the Black Church (Biserica Neagra). The second part of the journey is the arrival at Bran Castle. Here you can visit Castle Bran which belonged to prince Vlad Tepes, who was known as Count Dracula. In the evening you are invited to the Carpathian Restaurant for dinner and a party in a medieval atmosphere.

8th Day - Brasov - Sinaia

Journey from Prahova Valley in the Bucegi Mountains to Sinaia. The health resort Sinaia earned the name “Pearlof the Carpathian Mountains” when the king Carol returned from Peles. The outstanding beauty of the landscape at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains had enchanted the young German prince Carl von Hohenzollern who became Carol the I, King of Romania. At Sinaia he founded a little native piece of this country: in 1883 PelesCastle was finished. Now you have the opportunity to visit it. Also, make a short stop to visit the Orthodox monastery. Dinner and overnight stay (at a 3*Hotel or pension). (approx. 50 km).

 

9th Day Sinaia-Ploiesti-Tulcea

After the 7 ‘o clock breakfast,you will go further to Tulcea. Arrival in Tulcea is at 13 o’clock. Day trip by the boat in the Danube delta (5-6 hour journey. Lunch on board). Dinner and overnight stay in Tulcea (cca 350km).

 

10th Day Tulcea-Bucharest-United Kingdom

 In the morning after breakfast you`ll drive on through Valahia to Bucharest the " Paris of the East". During a city tour you’ll see magnificent boulevards, churches and historical objects of interest. You will visit the VillageMuseum, the Palace of Parliament (the second biggest building of the world) and the Patriarchy Cathedral.Parting from the guide and home flight. (cca.300 km)
