1st Day Frankfurt - Bucharest

Arrival at the airport of Bucharest - Otopeni. Meeting with the Romanian tour guide and transfer in the hotel.The capital of Romania, with more than 2 million inhabitants is one of the largest towns of the East. Our journey continues further to Bucharest (capital of Romania) After a two-hour journey we reach Bucharest. Bucharest, “Paris of the east” Bucur, the legendary shepherd who is said to have given his name to Bucharest. During the city tour you see cultivated parks, historic architectural monuments from "Belle Epoque", the Triumphal Arch and even the monument of the Roman Wolf with Romulus and Remus. City tour of Bucharest, the center of political, economic and cultural life. Bucharest experienced many dark times, like it's destruction by the Turks in 1595 during the course of centuries. The capital of the country is still called Paris of the Balkans. Dinner in a typicalromanian restaurant and overnight stay in Bucharest.

 

2nd Day Bucharest

You undertake a round trip and see the National Theatre, the University, the Patriarch's Church and monumental structures of the 20th century which were established by dictator Ceausescu – and if possible the Palace of the Parliament (the House of the People) the second largest building of the world after the Pentagon. We begin a city tour by visiting the Patriarch's Church (seat of the orthodox head from Romania), the Village Museum. Townstroll in the city and the biggest shopping center of the capital. In the evening, a visit of the opera, operetta or Philharmonic. Dinner and overnight stay in Bucharest.

 

3rd Day Bucharest - Frankfurt

Breakfast. In the morning, a short visit of an orthodox Monastery  in Snagov. The journey will continue to the airport followed by the discharge of the tour guide and an early home flight in the afternoon.
